When is the cure worse than the disease?


The CDC wants to track your travels

I don't like the sounds of this at all.

Yes, I know that there is a justification for tracking travelers for medical reasons.

But what happens when flu season is over?

And will that database be open to law enforcement? What about to other government agencies? Will the IRS deny your business deductions based on this information? Will your bank deny your mortgage? Will you have problems getting adequate insurance if you travel in the wrong places?

What qualifies airline and travel employees to make medical diagnosis?

This looks like another pre-emption of freedom based on flimsy rationalization.
