Blaming someone else for you desires

Matthew Scully goes after Hugh Hefner.

While Mr. Hefner isn't exactly a paragon of virtue, this attack is unwarranted.

It's not pornography that causes problems, it is the banning of pornography.

Pornography only works because of sexual repression.

That sounds like an unquestioning defense of Mr. Hefner, it's not. I'm just pointing out that when the only choice is prohibition or no prohibition, the real attack is on freedom.

In other words, someone doesn't trust you to make up your own mind. Maybe because you won't make the "right" choice.
