Watching the port deal die

The manufactured crisis

Aside from the red herring of national security, I find it amazing that it is OK for a UK firm to run the ports but not OK for a UAE firm.

And that under existing law, the UAE port deal was perfectly legal and the only way that Congress could stop it was by changing the law.

There is no better proof that your job and the entire economy is held hostage to the whims of Congress and the political wind.

Considering the record, that should scare everybody.
