Patriot Act expanded

Pharmacies now required to keep medications secure because they are "dangerous"

I'm not seeing much in the news today that is jumping out at me, but there is this one from a couple of days ago.

Not only does this show "mission creep" for the Patriot Act, but it links (again) the War on Terror to the War on Drugs.

All this in the name of freedom.

Let's face it, any high school chemistry student can do some pretty impressive drugs with the most basic things on the shelves with a drug store. A hardware and grocery store can provide some decent explosives.

Under the right circumstances, even water or oxygen can be a murder weapon.
