Al Franken lied about Air AmericaNew evidence tying Al Franken directly to the
Gloria Wise "loan" to Air America
Aside from the conservative rhetoric, Michelle. Malkin and Brian Maloney have uncovered quite a
bit.
Even though Al Franken on the air has denied any involvement, it seems he was a signatory to the legal agreement that promised that the "new" ownership of Air America would pay back all obligations of the previous ownership. Bad enough that there was a questionable loan from a non-profit to a public corporation. Worse yet that there have been legal shenanigans to get out of paying back the loan. Worse still is that the principals are lying about it whenever they get the chance. But what really annoys me is how almost no one is covering it. If it were Michael Savage or Rush Limbaugh, the New York Times and the Washington Post would be all over it. The LA Times would be running an in-depth series deploring the growth of talk radio and the shady financial dealings. Time Magazine would be running a cover story. 60 Minutes would do a major investigation. But when it comes to Air America, one of the Great Hopes of the American Left, they look the other way.
