Double standards time again

For the moment, put aside the (unsubstantiated) claims that the Bush Administration deceived Congress into approving war.

Let's look at examples like this column by Dana Milbank.

Both Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney have pointed out that many of the Congressmen and Senators who are making the accusations against the Administration were all in favor of action in 2002, 2000, and 1998.

How exactly does it serve the public interest to pretend that didn't happen?

I am not a fan of Mr. Bush, but this amnesia of everything that happened before Bush vs. Gore is getting very tiresome.
