Justifying police brutality

Just where are the protections

Light blogging today, it's the solstice and I also had some family stuff I had to deal with.

One of the things I do want to point out is that Radley Balko talked to Professor Sam Walker who was cited by Justice Scalia in the Hudson decision. Turns out Professor Walker was quoted out of context and said pretty much the opposite of what Justice Scalia said he did.

Mr. Balko also lists a few examples of "internal police procedures that protect against abuses." NOT.

There are some cases that I am familiar with where I can not cite details, the people concerned are afraid of retaliation. They aren't getting the press coverage, and there isn't really anyone who can help them.
