Arizona 9/11 Memorial honoring hijackers?

It was in the designs. Fortunately that part got pulled.

I never did support the Arizona 9-11 Memorial.

It made no sense to me for Arizona to host a 9-11 Memorial.

New York City, that I could see. It makes more sense for me if the World Trade Center were built higher and better than before, but a monument would be good.

Washington, that I could see. Although they hardly need another monument.

If any place deserves an old fashioned memorial, surely it is the Flight 93 crash site in Pennsylvania.

But Arizona?

And then we get this nonsense.

I'm hardly a hard core right wing neocon, but I frankly find the very idea of honoring the hijackers to be extremely insulting for the Americans who lost their lives that day.

That tells me that the memorial designers know very little about honor.
