NeoNotes - Hearsay

What disturbs me most about this is that it's based on hearsay.

And if some bad people come forward and say, "Well, maybe I did something like that," how do we tell the real from the false?

After all, it took down the bad guys.

And if you're a bad guy because they believe that you're racist, or misogynistic, or homophobic, or whatever the evil is this week, then the ends justify the means. It's worth the lies to take you down.

It's all hearsay. If some are guilty, well, that only means that the accusers on the side of Right. The accusation becomes more important than the crime. Your moral worth isn't based on what you've done, but what someone else says you've done. Where does it stop?

Hearsay.

It's not a tell-all culture.

We've got toxic feminists determined to reshape the world and make every male subservient. We've got radical progressives determined to rewrite history and social roles. We've got the climate change crowd determined to destroy capitalism and technology. None of them are telling anything remotely close to the truth. And with this "new" tool of social destruction, they don't have to be truthful.
