White supremacist hate groups in Iraq?

The Southern Poverty Law Center seems to think so. I'm not so sure.

When I first heard about gang symbols found in Iraq a couple of months ago, it wasn't white supremacist gangs that I was hearing about. I also hadn't been able to verify the story.

Now this bit pops up from the Southern Poverty Law Center. One of the things that makes me a little hesitant is that only one white supremacist group (and probably the best known one at that) seems to be identified, even though the story goes out of the way to link the gang signs with the white supremacist movement in general.

Something smells about this one. It's also been all over the left side of the blogosphere the last few days.
