You should know that I don't like radar cameras.
Not only do they encourage cities to reduce the yellow light time, usually the
cameras make the intersections less
safe.
That's why this should come as no surprise. The fact that someone is even thinking about "watching the watchers" should tell you something. It's not about public safety. It never was. It's all about the money. Especially since states and cities are facing major shortfalls and are unwilling to cut spending. Think about it. There's only a handful of industries that carefully monitor their employees to make sure that the "customer" is being squeezed for the maximum amount. The best known is of course the Las Vegas casinos. It's all about the Benjamins, baby. Is that the government you really want?
